My name is Gwendolyn Mayfield, my business is Butterflykiss Photography. My passion has always been photography. I'm award winning photographer. Been winning photography contest since high school. I prefer taking pictures in natural settings. I love being creative and finding new locations for photo opportunities. My world is my studio, making my portraits one of a kind.
I encourage my clients to be creative. Bring any props they want, to change outfits as often as they want for their photo session. I like to consult with my clients at least a week before the photo session to ascertain what "mood" or "theme" they are wanting their portraits to reflect. Once we figure out that, we can decide on prop, clothing, and location choices.
I take my time and take many pictures to get subject at their best. After the photo shoot I take hours editing and perfecting the photos. Then I post them online to be viewed, clients can request their pictures to be private and opened with a password if wished. Takes up to 2 weeks for pictures to be complete.
My images are sent to a professional digital photo lab that you can order prints online. Since I put so much work into every picture , I definitely want the print to be as best as possible. Although I charge a session fee, my print prices are very reasonable. I want my clients to love their portraits and to be able to have many of them in frames, albums, and hanging on their walls!
